
Hello again..It’s time to shake off winter and start photosynthesizing!
Looking back on Q1: we made it onto Shark Tank (!), we also floated out to LaLa Land for Expo West, dipped our toes in the Pacific, wolfed down some In-N-Out burgers, certified our 1% for the Planet company status, had a 14th birthday, and were recognized as “People to Watch in 2024”!

Red Monkey Foods launched their newest line for San Francisco Salt Co. at Expo West: Bacon Glazers. These magical mixes candy your bacon, right in your own oven! Four different flavors made their stunning debut and we were there for it all.

Growing from DTC (direct-to-consumer) to retail, the Switchback packaging had to work much harder. Because it’s a more competitive environment we went bolder and louder. We’re stoked to see these freeze-dried smoothie packets and boxes hit shelves. Go get ‘em, tiger!
IT’S OFFICIAL—WE’RE “PEOPLE TO WATCH”
When the industry announces that you’re someone to watch, you kinda freak out. And then you just get back to work. We’re excited to share that sibling duo, Bryan & Krissy Vanderwarker, were recognized as People to Watch this year by the design publication Graphic Design USA! CHASING SUNSHINE—EXPO WEST
In March, Team Seedhouse (and 65k+ other food industry folks) walked the Natural Products Expo West, which some call the ‘Super Bowl’ of food industry events. It was great to (re)connect with industry friends, high five clients, meet prospects and observe the future leanings of an industry. (See our trend recap here).

Jackson’s Chips also had big news at Expo West—launching Wavy Cut Cheddar Sour Cream Sweet Potato Chips! Yes, they’re as delicious as they sound. The Jackson’s team is on a roll and we’re happy to ride the waves with them.
SEEDHOUSE ON SHARK TANK
Our good friends, Long Table Pancakes (best pancakes ever), made it back onto Shark Tank back in February in a follow-up episode. Part of that segment featured our redesign effort and Krissy & Ash made it onto national TV!
14 YEARS OF CRAFTING BRANDS & PACKAGING
Breakout the body spray! Seedhouse enjoyed its 14th birthday on Feb 1st. We celebrated at our favorite Korean fried chicken spot, Crisp. Thank you for keeping us weird, smart & wildly creative.
