Responsibility

Have you ever marveled at a gorgeous sunset, been in awe of fluffy cumulus clouds, or walked in the woods and felt its majesty? Probably. Us, too.

There is something wonderful and pure about being outside in nature. It’s good for us, like really good for us. (See “Nurtured by nature”).

So here’s our conundrum. We love being outside and appreciate how lucky we are right now, to live in a world so green and wonderful. Our reality is that as a design firm, one that specializes in packaging design, our work often becomes beautiful trash. Effective design goes home with consumers. And as much as we might try to utilize more sustainable materials, our work is to an extent part of the problem

Seedhouse Joins 1% for the Planet

To offset this reality, we at Seedhouse made a bold move and joined 1% for the Planet last May. We believe that we have a responsibility to give back to the environment, and this is our small way of trying to do right and be better, more grateful recipients of the stunning beauty that’s all around us.

If we all give a little, maybe we can achieve a lot.

p.s. This has also proven to be a great exploration of the amazing, different organizations that exist locally, regionally and nationally that are trying to make our planet just a little better. We stand and applaud you all.
