Chocolate Egg Cream Foundation
Fox’s Syrups, best known for Fox’s U-bet Chocolate Syrup, is the quintessential ingredient for the Egg Cream. Made up of soda, milk and chocolate syrup, the Egg Cream is a soda fountain original, beloved in the boroughs of New York City. New Yorkers are adamant—without Fox’s U-Bet, it’s not an Egg Cream. So when Seedhouse took on the Fox’s U-Bet Redesign, we knew that we had to figure out how to respectfully update without losing what people know and love.
While rich in history and regional charm, the brand needed to be refreshed for a younger audience and wider appeal. Seedhouse updated the Fox’s little girl character so she was more friendly and easier to reproduce over the whole line. More vibrant colors and flavor photography helps to pull customers to the shelf and product.
Although the original packaging was typographically driven, adding the soda fountain glass photography on the face panel allows a focal point for new shoppers. They can immediately see the usage occasion and get excited.
