Bryan Vanderwarker

Bryan is a Chicago native with a healthy sojourn spent in Santa Barbara. He has worked in Design and Branding for over 20 years.  He has worked for companies such as Bausch & Lomb, Heinz, Grainger, Nestle, Coca-Cola, and many others.  Bryan is the third generation in his family to have worked in branding/marketing.  It’s in his blood.

We asked Bryan a few questions that we typically ask as part of our client kick-off brief in order to get a better sense of who he is.

If you were a car, what car would you be?
An old pick-up truck: a workhorse

Clothing brand or item?
Blue jeans

Food?
Tacos – simple, good food with some kick

Color?
Usually orange, but it depends on the day (oh, and I crazy love paint chip names)

Animal?
Mallard – this was family ascribed & true: calm above the waterline, but working like crazy below.

Magazine?
Afar

Book?
Personality tests say Siddharta or The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaui Way of Knowledge – both are journeys of self-enlightenment.  Go figure.

Character?

A Rothko  – simple but meditative
