Back in 1854, old man Wilson built a barn in Northern Illinois out of oak, black walnut and old-growth pine. For years, it witnessed the raising of cattle, the harvesting of crops, the milking of cows, and occasionally, the distilling of spirits for a certain Mr. Capone. As the years passed, the old wood gained character. In 2010, the barn was reclaimed by Jay from the American Barn Company. Today, transformed into a beautiful table, it’s where we share ideas.
